How Hate Saved Israel...This Time.

November 25, 20237 min read

PREFER TO WATCH THE VIDEO?

The acclaimed author and journalist Douglas Murray, after watching the body cam footage recovered from dead Hamas terrorists from October 7th, 2023, said, and I quote, “A level of depravity not even the Nazis did.” The sorrow and disbelief on his face was bare for the world to see.

Those of us who share the same opinion and sentiment are filled with sorrow and anger that such evil and hate not only exists, but that there are people out there who condone and celebrate those atrocities and are calling out for more of the same.

To those people I say, your ignorance is appalling, you have no soul, and your moral compass is nonexistent.

As I mourn and contemplate how such evil and hate can exist, and as more evidence comes to light, I realize that this very same hate may have saved Israel from a fate that, if carried out to plan, could have possibly ended its existence.

In the aftermath of the October 7th massacre of 1,400 innocent men, women, and children, the bodies of Hamas terrorists killed in the attack lay among the ruins. They were all carrying body cams to record and later celebrate their inhumane conquest of their innocent and unarmed victims.

But even more frightening was the recovery of the information each terrorist was carrying on his person. Specific details of the layout of each settlement they raided, what they were ordered to do to their victims, and the grand plan of the day…

To accomplish the most important mission of all, a mission they have been groomed to carry out since they were little kids.

This demonic plan was corroborated by Hamas terrorists captured and interrogated by Israeli intelligence. So, what was their big plan for October 7th?

First, Hamas terrorists were to infiltrate southern Israel, destroy everything in their path, and block off the entire southern part of Israel. Second, Hezbollah, the terrorist organization rooted in southern Lebanon was to invade and block off the northern part of Israel.

Third, Fatah, the West Bank Palestinian Authority, was to invade from the east. And lastly, the Arabs residing inside Israel were to rise-up from within.

The objective was to restrict the population and armed forces to a tiny area with no room to escape and annihilate them in one day.

Considering that Israel was caught by surprise, citizens were mostly unarmed, and the intelligence failure was colossal to say the least, it was still, in my opinion, unlikely to succeed in its entirety.

However, the death toll and carnage would have likely been exponentially greater. It would have been one of the greatest slaughters ever committed. The psychological impact, too, would last for generations.

Fortunately, Hezbollah did not attack in full force from the north, Fatah did not invade from the east, and Israeli Arabs did not rise-up from within. Why, I don’t know. But with cowards, who prefer to fight unarmed, innocent women, children, and the elderly and use their fellow Palestinians as human shields, I’m not surprised.

Unfortunately, too many lost their lives in the most barbaric way as it is. The level of hate displayed by the perpetrators made the most hardened of soldiers weep.

It will take a long time for the civilized world to recover from this, and it must recognize that there is no diplomacy or reasoning with evil. It took a while for me to wake up from the Stupor and shock.

I watch and read everything I can get my hands on regarding the events of October 7th. The hard part is deciphering what’s legitimate and what’s not and keeping my emotions in check before I formulate an opinion and share it publicly. And then it dawned on me, why this evil plan didn’t work. It was because of that same ravenous hate.

You see, Hamas terrorists had the upper hand for more than eight hours before the IDF showed up. And instead of continuing on their mission to the Red Sea and West Bank, they spent all their time slaughtering attendees of the music festival and the residents of the settlements they infiltrated.

They were feasting and celebrating their atrocities with glee. And because they were promised money and property for bringing hostages back to Gaza, they kidnapped civilians and even dead bodies to bring back with them and collect. Well, good luck collecting now. They reveled in their short-lived success so much that in my opinion, forgot their main objective.

That is the extent of their hate.

It’s hard to imagine that anything positive could be attributed to hate in general, not to mention that much hate.

But for me, for the first time, I can take solace in the fact that their hate blinded and distracted them long enough to limit the number of the victims and hostages to a number that, although still immense, could have been much, much worse.

As Americans and gun owners, we can learn a lot from what happened. And we better, because the hate on display on October 7th will not end on the borders of Israel. It will likely be attempted everywhere support for Israel is alive and well.

Unlike in the U. S., everywhere else in the world gun ownership is restricted. Even in Israel, whose citizens are constantly under threat, the government restricts citizens and their police officers to handguns primarily, unless on active military duty, and also makes it difficult to obtain a license to own a gun.

However, after October 7th Israel lifted Its restrictions and encouraged its citizens to get armed and ready for more. Why does such a tragedy have to occur for the lightbulb moment to finally come?

As Americans, we don’t have to do that. We have an inalienable right to keep and bear arms. We can own as many guns as we want of almost any kind at will. We have shooting ranges and professional instruction every few miles yet, there are still so many people who believe that if and when something happens, the police or military will save them, or that by restricting law-abiding citizens’ rights, we will be safer.

Newsflash! Terrorists don’t care!

If guns are against your values and beliefs, or if you simply don’t like or want to own any, I respect that. It’s not for everybody… Until it is

However, I strongly believe that if Israeli citizens had the same right we have and their citizens were armed and trained with AR 15s and AK 47s, along with their pistols, their casualty count would be highly reduced, less hostages, if any, would be taken, and the ordeal would be over faster.

text of the second amendment of the united states constitution

And now with antisemitism rising most since the holocaust, and the FBI and Department of Homeland Security Issuing a terror threat on “a whole new level” across the country, it has never been a clearer time to recognize the priceless value of our Second Amendment and take part.

Because just like Japan was deterred from invading the US in World War II because there is a rifle behind every blade of grass, so must each one of us recognize that we, as citizens, are the militia necessary for the security of our free state and protect it against enemies foreign and domestic?

Hamas planned and trained to carry out the October 7th attacks for two years. They had detailed layouts of the settlements they attacked. They built replicas of the settlements to carry out their military drills. All this was done a stone’s throw away from what was supposed to be the most secure border in the world.

Do you honestly believe that they haven’t spent the same two years planning something for the rest of the free world?

With our open borders, they are no longer a foreign enemy, but are well embedded, blended in, and after October 7th, probably even more emboldened. You can ignore me, laugh at me, call me fear-mongerer and propagandist all you want. But when the shit hits the fan, don’t say you weren’t warned.

Their hate failed them once. Don’t count on it failing them again.
