Where Is The Gun Range Located?
Range classes are held at 2335 University Pkwy Sarasota, FL 34243 by Appointment only.
Once you submit payment you will have access to the range appointment booking calendar.
When Do You Have Classes?
We have Beginner's Guide To Firearms™ range classes available on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
What Do I Need To Bring With Me?
1. Valid Picture ID. (Out of state is OK).
2. Range waivers. These will be emailed 48 hours before your session with final instructions.
3. Your firearm (optional) unloaded, magazine removed, chamber empty, and securely incased in a range or zippered bag and out of sight.
4. If you don't have a firearm, we will provide one free of charge (.22LR, .380ACP, and 9mm). You just have to bring or purchase ammunition. With our firearms you may only use NEW BRASS ammunition. No steel, aluminum, remanufactured, reloaded, or incendiary ammo will be accepted.
5. 1-2 boxes (50-100 Rounds) of ammunition.
6. Range Fee ($10). If you're a member of Shoot Straight this fee is waived.
What Should I Wear?
Please wear comfortable clothing, long hair tied back in a ponytail, closed toed shoes, no low-cut tops and long sleeves are a great idea. Basically, the more covered skin the better!
Do I need My Own Gun?
No, you do not need your own gun. If you have one, bring it with you, if not, one will be provided for you free of charge. Please read WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME for more information.
