NY Judge, Abenah Darkeh, scolded a defense attorney for bringing up the second amendment by interrupting him and yelling, “Do not bring the Second Amendment into this courtroom. It doesn’t exist here. So, you can’t argue Second Amendment. This is New York.”

The US Constitution is the supreme law of the land in ALL 50 states. Judges take an oath to faithfully and impartially discharge and perform the duties incumbent upon them under the constitution. No judge is above it. You better believe it! Such a statement has no place in our judicial system and neither such a judge.

This goes much deeper than just the second amendment and speaks volumes to the moral rot spreading through our society and the broken leadership that allows this travesty to happen.

Wake Up America!

Guns are just the beginning. Free speech and freedom of religion are under threat, too. and if we don’t wake up and vehemently resist this kind of tyranny, and it is tyranny, what will the next statement be, “Don’t quote the scriptures because religion doesn’t exist in my courtroom”?

If that happens, we’re right back where we started.

I hear all too often that in this day and age the constitution is outdated and no longer necessary. What an ignorant and foolish statement that is. To me, this judge’s statement begs the question… What could possibly be more necessary?
